Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 500 grams ground meat (beef, turkey, or a mix)
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. 2. Cut off the tops of the bell peppers, removing seeds and membranes.
  3. 3. Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat until tender.
  4. 4. Add ground meat and cook until browned.
  5. 5. Mix in cooked rice, crushed tomatoes, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  6. 6. Stuff the peppers with the meat mixture.
  7. 7. Arrange stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
  8. 8. Bake for 30 minutes.
  9. 9. If desired, add shredded cheese on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  10. 10. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
