Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon water (optional)
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to create the teriyaki sauce.
  2. 2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add the diced chicken.
  3. 3. Cook the chicken until it is browned and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.

  5. 5. If you desire a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch and water in a small bowl and add it to the pan, stirring until thickened.
