Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup peach preserves
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup whiskey or bourbon
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line or grease a baking sheet.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. 3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet with space between each one.
  4. 4. Bake the meatballs for 15 to 20 minutes until cooked through and lightly browned.
  5. 5. In a saucepan or slow cooker, whisk together peach preserves, BBQ sauce, chili sauce, whiskey, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and the other 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  6. 6. Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and coat gently. Heat until warmed through and the sauce reaches the desired thickness.
